Join the West Orange Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Oct 27th at Noon for a virtual meeting on how to avoid coronavirus related lawsuits. Guest speaker Ken Wallach will speak on the topic and answer the following questions:
As a business owner, what steps can be taken to protect my employees, clients and the business and stay out of Court? Are COVID-19 liability waivers enforceable? What COVID-19 guidelines and protocols should be followed and what personal protective equipment (PPE) should be required at work? As an employee, can I refuse to return to the office when requested and not be fired? What should I do if I test positive for COVID-19 while working at the office or home?
Attendees will leave the workshop with new knowledge about:
1. COVID-19 Liability Waivers- what are the advantages and disadvantages and when to use them.
2. Will my business insurance defend against COVID-19 lawsuits or cover loss of business due to COVID-19?
